Privacy policy

This notice explains how ViceCity Car Rental uses information through vicecitycar.rent, including inquiries, accounts, booking documents, payments and optional Google sign-in.
Who to contact
For privacy questions or a request concerning your information, contact info@vicecitycar.rent or +971 58 592 3590. Our office is Office 208, 2nd Floor, Al Nisf Building, Airport Road, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Information you provide
An inquiry includes your name, phone number, optional email, requested car, rental dates, location and message. An account can include your name, email and phone number. Booking records include contact and rental details, correspondence, payment status and supporting documents you upload, such as identification, driving licences and entry documents. We use these details to respond, arrange and administer rentals, review documents and maintain transaction records.
Sign in with Google
If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides your account identifier, email address and basic profile information, such as your name and profile picture. We use this information to create or identify your ViceCity account and sign you in. This sign-in does not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files or contacts. We do not receive your Google password. You can remove the connection in your Google Account; this does not by itself delete existing ViceCity booking or account records.
Payments and service providers
Stripe processes card payments. Our system shares relevant customer and booking information with Stripe and stores payment references, amounts and statuses for reconciliation and refunds. Card details are entered through Stripe payment components. Lovable and the Supabase-based backend provide website, account, database and document-storage services; email services deliver account and booking notifications. Authorized ViceCity staff use the records to handle your request and rental. These providers may process information outside the UAE under their own service arrangements.
Cookies, browser storage and advertising
The site uses browser storage for sign-in sessions, language preferences and your measurement choice. Campaign parameters and advertising click identifiers in a link can be kept for the browsing session and attached to an inquiry to identify its source. Optional visitor statistics and Google advertising measurement start only after you choose Allow. Visitor statistics use a random browser identifier that expires after 30 days and a visit identifier renewed after 30 minutes of inactivity. We record public page and car views, broad traffic source, contact-link clicks, measured inquiry saves, device/browser family, site language and approximate network country when our hosting platform supplies it. We do not store raw IP addresses, exact location, form contents or private account/document/payment-page URLs in these statistics. Administrators see aggregate reports; event records are deleted after 90 days. Signed-in staff and known automated browsers are excluded, and counts may be incomplete. This feature begins collecting at launch and cannot reconstruct earlier visits. A saved inquiry can then send a conversion event with its inquiry identifier; the event does not include the inquiry form fields. You can decline and still inquire or book. Use Privacy choices on a public page to change your choice; declining stops future measurement consent but does not erase information already sent.
AI concierge and external links
If you use the AI concierge, your message and public fleet details are sent through Lovable's AI service to a Google Gemini model to produce suggestions. Avoid including passwords, payment details or identity documents in that chat. WhatsApp, Google Maps and social-media links open separate services whose privacy practices apply there. Website errors and activity records may also be processed to troubleshoot the service and protect accounts.
Keeping and requesting your information
Information is kept as needed to handle inquiries and rentals, maintain accounts, resolve payment or service issues and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. The period depends on the type of record and the purpose. You may contact us to request access, correction or deletion, or to ask about a particular record's retention. We may need to verify your identity and retain records that are still needed for an ongoing rental, dispute or applicable requirement. Keep your account credentials and private booking links confidential.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page when the website's information practices change. The date shown on this page identifies the latest version.
